Second Shooting at the Bel Air Bay Club
I photographed this Bel Air Bay Club wedding for the lovely Jenna from One Eleven Photography. About 2 years ago, now? (How does the time fly so fast?) But I never did get a chance to blog it back then, so here it goes instead.
If you have never been to The Bay Club, it’s a nice hidden gem. You can find it off the PCH in the Pacific Palisades. I don’t know how many times I have driven past it, and never realized that it was right there! I got lost trying to find it when I was there the first time, but oh boy was it worth it! This is quite a spectacular spot for a wedding, and the views you get during the ceremony are something else. You have the Malibu hills on one side, and a cityscape on the other.

Also, I may or may not have had to fight back tears during the ceremony. Sometimes I am happy that we, as wedding photographers, have the luxury of hiding our faces behind a camera. Otherwise, you would see me blubbing. I’d be running through a lot of precious moments. Like the personalized vows, father/daughter dances, and let’s not forget the speeches. Ah, some speeches… well. Let’s say that there are a lot of people out there who are a heck of a lot more eloquent than me.
